Hello !
My name is Chloé and this is my very first game ever released in the wild world of the Internet !
I've been developping games for two years but I've never finished anything... until now !
Dr Bug is a small mini-game where you play as Satoshi, a young boy collecting bugs with his friend Shigeru ! You need to collect all the bugs before it's getting too late !
This game is based on the prompt "Bug" that was originally made the 2021 game jam Game Off on Itch.io ! This game is hence inspired by a fun fact in the video game history : it is indeed based on two major game developpers Satoshi Tajiri and Shigeru Miyamoto ! Even if they personnaly didn't know each other at this time, it is told that when they were small kids, Satoshi Tajiri and Shigeru Miyamoto used to collect bugs, which later on will inspire them to create games such as Pokemon and Pikmin !
So this game is a nod the video game history, and a tribute to the story of the man who created the very first video game franchise I ever remembered playing : Pokémon ! I have come full circle ! :)

NOTE : there are two versions, a French and an English version, so pay attention which one you are downloading ! ;)

Good game but needs polish, it has potencial

It’s a very cute mini-game. The references to the video game history is really a plus. I played it several times and enjoyed it. I read that it’s your first game and I can say that it’s a promising debut. I hope to see your next game soon!
